Cheap, Copied, Tainted?
- the true perception of brand China and the next stage of growth.

In this book, I aim to explore the future of brand China. I believe it is a social responsibility for young people in China to further develop brand China, besides relying on the government support. It seems that there is still a long way to go for Brand China on the road to public recognition on an international level.

My research is based on the people between age 21-35. Participates are asked to choose a maximum of 5 out of 10 adjectives that they would associate with Chinese products. The attributes ‘Cheap’, ‘Copied’ and ‘Tainted’are proven to be the most chosen adjectives, and that explained the title of this book. On the softer side ‘practical’ and ‘good value’ was also voted.
